Sessions
We offer flexible counselling and psychotherapy sessions to suit your needs. You can choose face‑to‑face appointments, online sessions, telephone counselling, or a combination of all three. Because life changes, your therapy can change with it. You’re free to switch between formats whenever you need to.
If you’re considering therapy, we encourage you to use our Book a Free Consultation form. This gives you time to ask questions and get a feel for how we work, without any pressure to continue.
Fees
Adult Counselling & Psychotherapy (18+): £70
Children & Young People Counselling & Psychotherapy (Ages 9+): £75
We provide a safe, confidential, and non‑judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. During your sessions, we work with you to build clarity, process emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies. Weekly or fortnightly sessions usually help maintain a steady therapeutic rhythm; however, we can discuss what works best for you.
Rewind Therapy
We also offer Rewind Therapy, and we can integrate it into your counselling sessions when appropriate. This gentle and effective approach helps you process trauma without needing to share detailed memories. It reduces involuntary recall while keeping voluntary memory intact. Many clients notice relief within just a few sessions, especially after single‑event trauma.
Payment
We email an invoice the day before your session, and you can pay by bank transfer.
Availability
We offer daytime appointments from Monday to Thursday.
Types of Sessions
Telephone counselling – Allows you to talk from a private space that feels comfortable. This option works well if you prefer not to be on camera or if you find it easier to speak without being seen. All sessions remain confidential and secure. We offer telephone counselling throughout the UK; however, please enquire if you are based overseas.
Online counselling – Takes place via Google Meet, a secure and encrypted platform. You simply need a quiet, private space for your session. Online therapy allows us to see each other and makes it easy for us to share resources, diagrams, or techniques during the session. This service is available across the UK; however, please enquire for overseas availability.
Face‑to‑face sessions. We offer face‑to‑face sessions in our welcoming office in central York, just a short walk from the city centre. The building dates back to the 1800s and includes beautiful original features, such as a gold spindle staircase. When you arrive, a friendly receptionist will greet you, and you’ll find a waiting area, toilet facilities, and free water dispensers.
You can park for free on the street for up to one hour, which is ideal for a 50‑minute session. The location is also well‑connected by bus routes and close to York train station. Our therapy room is on the ground floor, fully wheelchair accessible, and thoughtfully furnished to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
You’ll find us at: Tower House Business Centre, Fishergate, York, YO10 4UA

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, “Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner.” I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.
