I am a warm and empathetic counsellor who works in a non-judgemental and inclusive way, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, valued and respected. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change, and I aim to help each person feel understood, supported and empowered throughout their journey.

My approach is integrative, with a strong person-centred foundation. I believe that empathy, genuineness and acceptance are essential in building trust and helping therapy feel safe and effective. Alongside this, I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Child-Centred Play Therapy, adapting how I work to suit each individual. I strongly believe that therapy should fit the client, not the other way around, and I work collaboratively to make sure each person’s needs and preferences are always at the centre.
I work with adults, children, young people and families, supporting a wide range of emotional and psychological needs. My particular areas of interest include trauma, bereavement, and working with individuals who are neurodivergent or have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
I am a neuro-affirming counsellor, and I am passionate about celebrating and supporting neurodivergence. Rather than focusing on trying to “fix” people, I aim to understand each individual’s strengths and needs, helping them to feel more confident and accepting of who they are.
I am also a trauma-informed practitioner, with postgraduate training in trauma-informed practice with children and young people. This shapes how I understand people’s experiences, recognising how the past can influence the present. I support clients in gently shifting from thinking “what’s wrong with me?” to “what has happened to me?”, allowing space for compassion, insight and lasting change.
When working with me, you can expect a collaborative and respectful relationship where your voice really matters. I aim to help you better understand yourself, build confidence and feel more able to manage difficulties in your own way. Above all, I want to support you in recognising that you are not broken. You are someone with your own experiences, strengths and ways of being that deserve to be valued and accepted.
